Therapy services

I am a licensed professional counselor in PA with decades of experience in a wide range of therapy settings - private practice, community mental health, grief support, and university counseling centers. My approach as a therapist is holistic, with an awareness and analysis of cultural and systemic impacts on mental health. My practice is LGBTQ affirming and rooted in liberation.

Areas of expertise include grief and loss, depression, anxiety and stress, self-esteem, family systems, identity exploration, trauma recovery, and interpersonal relationships. I bring a deep sense of empathy, openness, creativity, warmth, compassion, and a sense of humor to the therapeutic relationship. Using modalities of somatics, IFS (parts work), and CBT tools, we will work together to integrate your experiences that need healing and/or understanding.

Life can be overwhelming; we can look at what factors are contributing and how to navigate through with more clarity and peace. Change is possible, and talking to a non-judgmental professional in a safe and nurturing space is one avenue to acceptance and momentum. I believe that the therapy relationship and process can deeply impact my clients' ability to grow, heal and reach their full potential in this complex world.

Whether you have had therapy in the past, or are curious about starting the process for the first time, please give me a call for a free phone consultation to see if we are a good fit. My fees are based on a sliding scale. I look forward to speaking with you!

With care,

Beth
